Who is responsible

MeepleThèque is published by an independent developer. For any question about your data, write to contact@meepletheque.com. You will get an answer within 30 days at most.

The data we collect

We only collect what the app needs in order to work:

• Your email address and an encrypted password, so you can sign in and find your collection again on another device.
• The games in your collection, their details (player count, length, publisher, type, status) and your house rules.
• The first names of the players you create, along with the avatar and colour you give them.
• The plays you log: date, game, players present, scores and winner.
• Your subscription status (free or Premium).

What we do not collect

No location data, no access to your contacts, photos, microphone or camera. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics. We neither sell nor rent any data.

Player first names are data about other people: only enter first names or nicknames, never a full name, an address or a way to contact them.

The providers we share data with

To operate, MeepleThèque relies on the following providers: Supabase (hébergement de la base de données et des comptes, Union européenne (Irlande)); OpenAI (fourniture de l'assistant de suggestion (facultatif), États-Unis); RevenueCat (gestion des abonnements, États-Unis); Apple (distribution de l’app et traitement des paiements, International).

Each one only accesses what is strictly necessary.

The suggestion assistant and artificial intelligence

The app offers an optional feature that suggests a game from a sentence you write. It is off by default and is only enabled with your explicit consent, from Settings.

When it is enabled and you use it, your list of games and your request are sent to OpenAI, in the United States, in order to produce a suggestion. No player first name, no email address and no score is sent. OpenAI does not use this data to train its models under its developer offering.

You can turn this feature off at any time in Settings. The rest of the app keeps working normally.

Where your data is stored

Your data is hosted by Supabase in the European Union (Ireland). A copy is kept on your phone so the app works without a connection; it is erased when you delete your account or uninstall the app.

For how long

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete it, the data is erased immediately and permanently, with no backup copy kept under your name.

Your rights

You can view, correct and delete your data directly in the app. Account deletion is in Settings, under “Danger zone”: it erases your account, your games, your players and every play.

Under the GDPR you also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. To exercise them, write to contact@meepletheque.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

Any substantial change to this policy will be announced in the app before it takes effect.
